I use 30lb braid the size of 8,with a 17lb floral carbon leader. Med action rod with fast tip.
Rod make up for no line stretch, also if drags not set they will pull the hooks out because the size hooks that are on a no# 5 ShadRap
I up size my rear hook one size up,a 5 lb striper will break the hooks on brade fast
